NGC Member Award of Honor

April, 2001

Frances Simeone (deceased) was an outstanding contributor to the community through her creativity and willingness to use that creativity for the benefit of others.  Not one to want to be in the spotlight, she was content to work selflessly to enhance the lives of others.  Her many years of dedication to the Indiana Garden Club and to the community through her work with the garden club, made her not only an outstanding garden club member, but also an outstanding citizen.  Always one to put the needs of others before her own, Frances gained pleasure from sharing her knowledge.  Her belief that we as a garden club should help other organizations meet their objectives for the community influenced the club's participation in other organization's events.
